BIO

Chandra Marcoux is a born and bred Californian who has called Ohio home for nearly 15 years. She was raised primarily in Napa and spent her young adulthood in Hollywood studying theatre at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. In 2009, she decided to settle down and plant new roots in Wadsworth, Ohio, where she still lives with her husband and their blended family of three kids (one grown), two grandbabies, and two doggos.

Chandra thrives on the pursuit of new knowledge and experiences, which has led to a lifetime of diverse jobs, ranging from training new hires at Starbucks to managing a quality control department for an automotive manufacturer, and from belting out tunes as a karaoke host to quietly shelving books as a librarian. She has been with True Wealth Design since November of 2023 and is excited to be a part of their first tax office and help grow this new division.

How would you describe yourself in one sentence?
I would describe myself as a quick learner and proactive individual, always eager to seize opportunities and infuse any environment with enthusiasm and positivity.

What is something most don’t know about you?
Most people know that I was a karaoke DJ for six years, which is not only how and where I met my husband but has remained a go-to hobby of ours as long as we have been together.

What do you do in your free time?
Living in Ohio means finding weather-dependent hobbies. When the sun is out, I am, too! Whether that means hitting the golf course, cruising on the motorcycle, or simply hanging out on the back patio with the dogs. When the weather doesn’t cooperate, you’ll find me cheering on my favorite football team (Go, Pack, Go!) or cuddling up on my couch with a good book and a giant cup of coffee.

What are your wardrobe constants?
In my professional wardrobe, I love to accent my outfits with a coordinated jewelry set and cute heels. The rest of the time (again, weather permitting), you’ll find me in a breezy sundress, brightly colored flip-flops, and a chic pair of sunglasses to match.

What is something interesting someone has said about you?
My husband likes to tell people that I’m the most empathetic person he has ever met, but he’s probably biased.

What are you proud of?
My recent health journey, during which I quit smoking and lost significant weight, and which has led to a rediscovery of my self-confidence and care.
