Jay was raised in Louisville, Ohio, and attended Kent State University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in 19. He obtained his CPA license in 1994 and has worked in the accounting industry since 1989. Jay continues to reside in Louisville, where he volunteers for several community organizations. When not working, he enjoys spending time with friends and family.
How would you describe yourself in one sentence?
I value my relationships with clients and friends – many of whom fall into both categories.
What is something most don’t know about you?
I joined the Army as a Junior in high school and completed basic training at the age of 17, the summer between my junior and senior years.
What do you do in your free time?
I spend time volunteering for several organizations that are important to me – reading and spending time with friends.
What are your wardrobe constants?
No neckties – casual and comfortable.
What is something interesting someone has said about you?
Over the years, I have had clients tell me that I don’t have “an accountant’s personality,” which I guess is a good thing!
What are you proud of?
I am proud to be a United States Army Veteran who served in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm 1990-1991.
