Client Satisfaction

Happy Clients

Selecting an advisor is challenging. Experience, competency, trustworthiness, and fee transparency are essential. Yet, how do you make the right choice?

Starting with a team of professionals with gold-standard credentials – CFP®, CFA®, CPA – certainly helps check the competency box. Fee transparency and the advisor’s acknowledgement of serving you under a Fiduciary Standard go towards accomplishing the transparency and trustworthiness requirements.

Often overlooked in making a sound hiring decision are considering client satisfaction ratings, if available and obtained in an unbiased manner. A company merely conducting these surveys demonstrates some level of care and concern for its clients. Results can also be utilized to make comparisons of client satisfaction to industry benchmarks and for companies to continually improve.

Client Satisfaction Rating (NPS)

True Wealth Design uses the Net Promoter Score system (NPS) via anonymous surveys to gain this valuable client feedback. Harvard Business School reports that at least two-thirds of the Fortune 1000 use NPS. NPS methodology asks a single question: “On a scale from 0 to 10, how likely would you be to recommend our company to a friend?”

NPS scores range from -100 to +100. According to ClearlyRated, “Standards (for accounting and financial services industries) classify organizations as excellent once they’ve earned a 50% NPS.” Ratings of 70%+ for accounting and 80%+ for financial services are considered world-class.

Everything we do at True Wealth Design – from the advice we give, the service experience, and the outcomes clients receive all relative to the advisory fees paid – is encompassed in the NPS score. We are proud and honored to report an NPS score of 81 in our most recent survey — significantly higher than the average wealth manager or average accounting firm and even reaching beyond the ‘exceptional’ category.
